In Vancouver we visited Bronwyn then spend some time exploring Stanley Park. We then drove up the Sea to Sky Highway almost to Britannia Beach before the bad traffic turned us back.
We then took the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay, Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island, where we drove to spend the night in Qualcum Beach.
The next day we visited the giant Douglas Firs of Cathedral Grove, before heading to Victoria to spend the night before returning home the next morning.
